Titus — Pauline Epistles
Πρὸς Τίτον
3 chapters · Paul's instructions to Titus in Crete: appoint qualified elders in every town, teach sound doctrine across every generation, and live in light of grace that has appeared and glory yet to appear. Saved not by works but by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit.
Chapter 1 — Church Order
Appoint Elders; Silence False Teachers
Put what remains in order; appoint elders in every town. Character qualifications for overseers. Rebuke the insubordinate Cretan false teachers sharply. "To the pure all things are pure." They profess to know God but deny Him by their works.

Chapter 2 — Sound Doctrine
Every Generation Shaped by Grace
Specific instructions for older men, older women, younger women, young men, bondservants. Adorn the doctrine of God. Grace has appeared — training us. The blessed hope: our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ. Redeemed and purified, zealous for good works.
Chapter 2
Chapter 3 — The Gospel
Saved by Washing & Renewal; Do Good
Be subject to rulers; be gentle with all. We were once foolish — but God saved us by his mercy through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit. Devote yourselves to good works. Warn the divisive person twice, then separate.
